In addition, perceptions surrounding facial characteristics, body types and other physical traits have varied. However, despite the changing standards, we know that beauty is timeless. So many women were considered stunning years ago and are still beauty icons today. Much like Bryce Dallas Howard, Lilly Collins was entertainment royalty – her father is Genesis drummer-turned-frontman-turned solo star Phil Collins – which likely made it easier for her to break into the industry but made it harder for her to be taken seriously. Collins worked steadily in through the 200s and 2010s, appearing in films including The Blind Side, Priest, Abduction, Rules Don’t Apply, To the Bone, Tolkien, and Mank. She achieved her largest fame in 2020 when she was cast as the titular lead in the Netflix series Emily in Paris. The show was a hit, and Collins was rewarded with a Golden Globe nomination.

Jamie Chung

Jamie Chung was first introduced to the American public through reality television, appearing on MTV’s The Real World: San Diego and its spin-off Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Inferno II. Unlike most reality stars, Chung has been able to transition to a successful acting career, appearing in such film and television projects as Dragonball Evolution, Grown Ups, Premium Rush, Sorority Row, The Hangover Part II, Sucker Punch, and Big Hero 6, Eden, Samurai Girl, The Gifted, Once Upon a Time, Big Hero 6: The Series, and Lovecraft Country.
